Enter for a Chance to Win a Volunteer Vacation Grant

If you've always dreamed of taking a volunteer vacation but couldn't afford it, apply for a chance to win a $5,000 Travel for Good voluntourism grant. Voluntourism gives you a chance to give back to the communities you visit on vacation--either for just a few days or even for a few months.

This grant will fund up to $5,000 for the transportation to, as well as the cost of, your voluntourism trip. Just choose a Signature Trip from one of our partners, make a video of two minutes or less, upload it to our site, and then send it around to friends and family for voting. You must be a legal resident of the United States to win the grant.

What makes a good video?

Be specific about which voluntourism trip inspires you and make sure to stay under the two-minute cutoff. Tell us why you should win and how you already give back in your community. Show us your passion and you could win!

How do I win?

We're looking for born leaders to take these life-changing trips. Upload your video and spread the word about your mission. Share it on Facebook, Tweet about it, and email friends and family members. The 25 finalists will be selected based on 50% audience support and 50% quality of their video and the winner will be chosen by Travelocity from the finalists. We award four $5,000 grants every six months!

There are two contest cycles a year and we'll select four winners (or teams of winners) each cycle. Winners will have six months to take their volunteer vacations. Check out the chart below for more information!
